Rare Beatles Footage Found After 40 Years

Rare footage of The Beatles filmed at the time of the ‘Magical Mystery Tour’ has been found after nearly 40 years.

The footage of the fab four at Plymouth Rocks in 1967 was unearthed when the BBC were transferring old film into a new digital format.

The BBC reports this is the second time this has happened in the South-West. Last October footage was found of The Beatles visiting the region in 1964, wrongly stored in the sports section of the Film Archive.

On the 1964 film, amongst other things, John Lennon and Ringo Starr both proclaimed they were going to abstain from voting in the election of that year.
