The Beatles Reach Another Benchmark

The Beatles have achieved yet another milestone with their 2000 compilation '1' reaching Diamond status in the USA.

Diamond is awarded for sales of 10 million plus in America.

'1' has become the sixth Beatles album to achieve that status following 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band', 'Abbey Road', 'The Beatles', 'The Beatles 1962-1966; and 'The Beatles 1967-1970'.

To date, The Beatles cumulative US sales are 168.5 million.

Their biggest album is 'The Beatles' with sales over 19 million
