Hip Hop Takes Center Stage At Atlanta Youthfest

Many Hip Hop artists claim to love the kids, today thousands of 3-17 year olds will gather at Wilson Mill Park in Adamsville, Georgia as part of Youthfest 2005. Youthfest 2005 is packed with activities. Participants can enjoy games, concerts, a health fair, as well as exercises to enhance self-esteem and youth leadership skills. Sessions will also take place concerning various areas of self-improvement, including drug awareness, teen pregnancy prevention, and fire education.

Multiple celebrities are expected to be in attendance. Atlanta City Councilman C.T. Martin will host the events.

The day’s biggest event may be the performance of 11 year old nNocent. The aspiring rapper will take center stage later in the day. The rapper often referred to as ‘Ludakid,’ recently received awards from the Ludacris Foundation for providing youth with inspiration and a positive message. He was also a guest performer at Russell Simmons’ Washington D.C. Hip Hop Summit this past June.
