After being sued by R&B superstar R. Kelly for kicking Kelly off the Best of Both Worlds tour, hip-hop megastar Jay-Z has announced that it's back on, but without R. Kelly, renaming it the Jay-Z and Friends tour.
Taking the stage with Jay-Z for Friday night's show at American Airlines Arena will be P. Diddy, Mary J. Blige and Ja Rule. Tickets for the Best of Both Worlds tour look like being honored.
Since R. Kelly and Jay-Z split, Jay-Z has continued with the Best of Both Worlds tour dates, with supporting artists as Usher, Snoop Dogg, Pharrell Williams and Busta Rhymes onstage.

The Best of Both Worlds joint concert, originally between R. Kelly and Jay-Z, feared it would be forced to refund tickets after Jay-Z barred Kelly from the remaining tour dates in the New York area, amid reports of a feud and accusations of an assault.
R. Kelly filed the $75 million lawsuit against Jay-Z and his Marcy Projects production company on Monday, accusing the rapper of "sabotaging" the pair's abruptly canceled Best of Both Worlds Tour.
Originally planned as a forty-date outing, the joint Jay-Z/Kelly, Best of Both Worlds tour, was plagued by friction between the two rap artists from the onset, with cancellations and late start times. The tensions reached a climax on Friday night at New York 's Madison Square Garden when Kelly stopped his performance, claiming he thought two audience members were reaching for guns. Security then searched the crowd, found no guns and gave the Kelly clearance to resume performing. R. Kelly was returning to the stage when he was allegedly attacked with "pepper spray or mace" by Tyran "Ty Ty" Smith, a member of Jay-Z's entourage. Kelly was treated for his injuries at St. Vincent 's hospital and released.
MTV reported that Kelly claims Jay-Z was "motivated by spite and jealousy".
Jay-Z and Kelly's second collaborative CD, Unfinished Business, topped the nation's album chart this week, selling 215,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
